Kawneer North America is based in Norcross, Georgia, and operates strategically located manufacturing facilities and fabricating service centers throughout the United States and Canada. Our company is part of Alcoa's global Building and Construction Systems (BCS) business.

Under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager, the territory sales representative is responsible for the successful promotion and sale of all Kawneer products in a designated sales territory for both the new and remodel market segments.

Major activities/key challenges:

? Ability to establish sales objectives and achieve them consistently within the territory
? Ability to establish and strengthen customer relationships
? Ability to aggressively pursue orders?
? Ability to promote products to architects and other buying influences
? Ability to analyze new customer opportunities and add when needed to achieve sales targets

Essential Knowledge & Skills/Education:

? Business, Marketing, or Engineering 4 year degree preferred
? Building & Construction Industry knowledge
? Familiarity with territory area.
? Strong interpersonal skills
? Ability to establish and strengthen customer relationships
? In depth product and service knowledge
? Ability to aggressively pursue orders
? Ability to promote products to architects and other buying influences
? Ability to interact with internal customers in a positive and constructive fashion
? Ability to establish sales objectives and achieve them consistently within the territory
? Develop and maintain accurate project files
? In-depth knowledge of the aluminum business
? In-depth knowledge of competitors within territory
? Can articulate features and benefits of all product lines to key buying influences
? Ability to analyze new customer opportunities and add when needed to achieve sales targets?

Working Knowledge:
? Ability to resolve problems in the field
? Ability to promote during industry trade shows
? Basic computer skills
? Familiarity with key concepts
? Basic understanding of key financial drivers
? A mechanical aptitude with general interest in the building sciences?
? Participate in key industry organizations like the American Institute of Architects

Position may be filled as a JG 16 or 17 depending upon qualifications and experience
