Volunteer attorney program to hold free divorce legal clinic for low ...

Volunteer attorneys will provide low income Dallas County residents with free divorce legal assistance at a clinic on Wednesday, May 22.

George L. Allen, Sr. Courts Building (dallascourts.com)

The Divorce Legal Clinic will be at 9 a..m. in the George L. Allen, Sr. Courts Building at 600 Commerce St. in Dallas. The clinic will be on the second floor in training room 220-AB.

The clinic will be held by the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, which is an?initiative?of the Dallas Bar Association and Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas.

To qualify attendees must be Dallas County residents, a legal resident or U.S. citizen, have an agreement about property division and a minimal amount of property, the divorce must be uncontested, no family violence in the?preceding?two months and be able to attended three daytime classes.
